Ayothaya Floating Market is the newest floating markets in the old city of Ayutthaya which make a nice change from just visiting old temple ruins all day. This floating market, located in a large pond with an island in the middle, surrounding land area is divided into 16 zones according to a different district in Ayutthaya province. With 50 paddle boats and over 200 shops offering goods and food, visitors could enjoy spending time there shopping and sightseeing the beautiful Thai architecture as well as admiring traditional shows and joining a tour boat around the premises. Ayothaya Floating Market it’s conveniently next door to the Elephant Camp so you can do an elephant ride. There are shops with handicraft and souvenirs. You can easily spend a couple of hours at this floating market as well as shopping and eating, there are also regular shows during the day.
